Canadian Surgical Technologies and Advanced Robotics (CSTAR)

CSTAR excels at closing the gap between medical device innovation and clinical implementation through research, validation and simulation training. CSTAR works with WORLDiscoveries to convert research results into products that meet market demands.

TechAlliance

TechAlliance empowers London and Southwestern Ontario’s technology sector through mentoring, education and networking opportunities. WORLDiscoveries start-ups receive essential business guidance from the TechAlliance Entrepreneur-in-Residence.

The Research Park

The Research Park provides world-class facilities to WORLDiscoveries start-ups.

Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE)

OCE is the pre-eminent research-to-commercialization vehicle in Ontario. OCE supports WORLDiscoveries commercialization projects through funding programs such as Market Readiness.

National Research Council (NRC)

NRC London researchers collaborate with WORLDiscoveries researchers to design virtual manufacturing and novel production processes to benefit industry.

Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)

NSERC matches WORLDiscoveries researchers with leading Canadian businesses for research and development (R&D) partnerships.

C4 Consortium

C4 is a technology transfer consortium that fosters innovation in Southwestern Ontario by promoting commercialization. Members coordinate resources, cooperate with governmental and industrial bodies, collaborate in multi-disciplinary research to solve real world problems, and commercialize research results. WORLDiscoveries is among the ten universities and research institutions that make up the C4.
