Saumik pursued his doctoral studies in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Western University. Saumik’s research primarily focused on elucidating the interplay between epigenetic mechanisms and disease pathogenesis in diabetic complications. He is currently a Western Medical Innovation Fellow and co-founder of Tenomix.

Subrata is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Western. His research focuses on investigating pathogenetic mechanisms of chronic diabetic complications.
