A distinguished professor in the School of Kinesiology and Canada Research Chair in the Integrative Physiology of Exercise and Health, Kevin is a physiologist by training. His studies focus on human health and disease prevention. He has taken an active role in advancing student mental health at Western.

Johnson is the founder of Mood & Co. an exciting and modern scented products and candle brand that combine unique aromas that connect with you every day. Mood & Co. was part of Propel Entrepreneurship’s PSI incubator program in 2017.

Prachi is an Associate Professor, Faculty of Education at Western, specializing in education and global development. She is also member of the World Bank Expert Advisory Council on Citizen Engagement. Previously, she served with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo and the International Rescue Committee. She holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford.

Tyler is a tech entrepreneur and founder of Speak Ai an intelligent digital companion to help individuals and teams improve communication, awareness, well-being and productivity. Tyler is also involved in mental health advocacy by serving on the Mental Health Campaign Cabinet at London Health Sciences Foundation. He also produces a blog, music and podcasts.

A software engineer and entrepreneur, Zamir was inspired to create VidHug after surprising his mother with a group video montage for her 70th birthday. The group video platform, launched in 2018, grew dramatically during the pandemic. A Londoner since childhood, Zamir enjoys growing a business and helping to raise a family in the city.

Claire is an assistant professor at Western University’s Faculty of Law. She researches primarily in family law and children’s law. She has written about intimate partner violence, high conflict separation, children’s health care decision-making, and children’s participation in legal processes.

Stephen is an Associate Professor of Virology at Western. His research aims to better understand the complex virus-host interactions of emerging viral pathogens such as HIV, Ebola and the newcomer SARS-CoV-2. He is part of a team of investigators at Western who are studying SARS-CoV-2 and developing a next-generation vaccine and vaccine bank for COVID-19.

Beth is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Polymeric Biomaterials at Western. Her research interests are in the development of biodegradable polymers, stimuli-responsive polymers, phosphorus-containing polymers, and polymer assemblies. Her team is applying these polymers to a range of industry and academic applications including coatings, packaging, drug delivery, tissue engineering and agriculture.
